Indian Head Massage

Indian head massage is a traditional treatment, used by Indian women for over 1000 years. It is a most effective therapy for alleviating stress and tension.

Working on the upper back, shoulders, neck and head, the massage gently but firmly releases any stress or tension from these areas. This part of the therapy is a dry massage, directly on the skin.

The massage continues on the scalp, using a specific blend of oils, which is said to promote hair growth, although no promises are given! This again releases any tension, and gives a feeling of well-being.

This is followed by massage of the face, bringing further relaxation. The session finishes with healing, to rebalance the whole of the body.

By the end of the session clients are usually in a very deep state of relaxation.

For those who prefer not to remove clothing, the first part of the massage can be given through light clothing.

The session lasts about 40 minutes.
