Aromatherapy is the holistic application of essential oils to improve physical and emotional well-being. Massage - combining the benefits of essential oils with therapeutic massage produces a deeply pleasurable yet highly effective way of healing the body.
This is a full body massage using aromatherapy oils, although the massage can be given without oils if preferred. The use of talcum powder is an alternative.
What is the Reiki School? This is a chance to receive training that is at a high standard. For levels one and two courses run for three months giving all students time to develop and practice skills that come from the Japanese Reiki tradition. I was originally taught level one in one day and found myself needing more support. Since starting my Reiki Share Group in November 2010 I have met many people who have felt unsure of how to practice Reiki correctly and confidently. Emperor Meiji of Japan 1868-1912 wrote, "It would be better Not to take the dangerous road Even though You might think You'll get there faster." In this case I am not refering to danger but really to allowing learning to develop in a natural flow, like a pond remembering the beautiful lillies and feeding it gradually with the mud from it's depts to produce more beautiful flowers. I would like to pass on my knowledge and experience to others with the same care as other courses like reflexology, massage or aromatherapy. All students will have support during the course and afterwards. I run a Reiki Share Group and a Development Group to help people to brush up on techniques, learn new ones, find out the background and theory behind many aspects of Reiki. One area that is often missed is the spiritual elements to Reiki. Dr Usui, the founder, was searching for enlightenment when he discovered Reiki. A friend of mine once said "all fingers point to moon." One thing to think about is, are you the finger or the moon? We are all the moon when you are working with Reiki, you are at one with everything in the universe, your ego is no more and no longer the finger but the moon herself. If you are qualified for any of the levels you can join the school for some of the full day lessons as a guest student. To find these click on to Workshops and Groups. I will need proof that you are qualified. Healing is the linking up of the natural healing power within the body, with the natural healing power of the universe. The healer is the link between the two, being the channel through which the energies flow. This is a very simple process, with no need for any ritual, manipulation or removal of clothing.
Nutritional medicine is a combination of nutrition and naturopathic medicine; it is the
application of nutrition science and biochemistry usually studied over a period of years
before qualifying with a college recognised by professional bodies such as BANT, and
the FNTP.
Nutritional medicine is based on the principle that the body will heal itself if the
conditions are right. The therapy uses food as medicine along with supplementary
nutrients to alleviate or prevent chronic health problems.
Nutritional therapy aims to promote a state of health through optimum nutrition, and a
fully trained therapist/practitioner is trained to recognise and identify potential
nutritional imbalances and deficiencies and their links to various symptoms.
These imbalances can be addressed through food choices and lifestyle changes in
order to support the body towards achieving and maintaining a state of well being.
Whether you want help in assessing your current diet, seek advice on weight issues
or other symptoms, or just need help with cooking skills a nutritional therapist can help.
They will take time to plan a holistic nutritional strategy with you along with appropriate
lifestyle changes designed for you alone, because you are an individual and the same
programme will not suit everyone with the same symptoms.

Ear candles have been used by many cultures as an effective natural therapy since ancient times, including the peoples of the Siberian prairies, Asia and the native north and south American Indians.
